Classes are held at The Studio Dance (Twin Oaks Plaza) in Hollywood, Florida. Students of all ages and levels will immerse themselves in all aspects of the art form, including history and dance that encompasses diverse styles from the Middle Eastern dance

Fluid Step & Expressive Combos
Take your dance to the next level! Learn more complex combinations any choreography; knowledge of musical interpretation and expression (emotions) thru dance.
Monday 8:30p.m. – 9:30p.m.
rAKS sHARKI Technique & combinations
This class focuses on combinations and technique execution for different styles of Middle Eastern Dance such as Oriental, Saidi, Debke Khagili etc. This includes cultural aspects of the dance style, expressions, props, musical interpretation and complex footwork.
Thursdays 7:30p.m. – 8:30p.m.
Class focuses on proper technique execution, musical interpretation, alignment and stamina. This may include components and props for Raks Sharki performance sets, including more advanced turns, folkloric dance, improvisation, veil entrance, cane and much more!

Belly dance Basics 101
This is an introduction to the basic steps and proper execution of movements. Together in 8 weeks we will build a foundation of basic technique, footwork, combinations as well as cultural aspects of belly dance and basic elements such as finger cymbals (zills) and veil.
No experience required for this class; we encourage all students to remain in this level as long as needed to master the fundamentals.
